The Japan–Ghana Economic & Cultural Exchange (JGECE) is a non-profit organization connecting Ghana and Japan through youth skills development, agricultural transformation, education inclusion, and cultural exchange.
We focus on:
- Technical & vocational training with the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Service.
- Education inclusion with the Complementary Education Agency (CEA).
- Agricultural transformation with the Tree Crops Development Authority (TCDA).
- Youth-focused international programs like the Japan–Ghana Auto Connect.
Our flagship program offering Japanese language training, technical training, and pathways to international work opportunities for Ghanaian youth.
We partnered with TCDA and Japanese tech experts to develop a national traceability software system for tree crops and support farmers (especially in palm oil) with training and resources.
We work with the Complementary Education Agency to support out-of-school children and adult learners with complementary education opportunities.
We signed an MOU with the TVET Service to implement a nationwide framework for technical and vocational education.

No. We provide training and placement pathways, but overseas jobs depend on performance, employer selection, and visa approvals.
Yes. The Auto Connect program includes a GHS 200 registration fee, USD 300 language training, and USD 700 automation training (installments allowed).
Training fees are refundable up to 14 days before classes start, minus a GHS 50 admin fee. Registration fees are non-refundable.
