About JGECE

The Japan-Ghana Economic and Cultural Exchange (JGECE) is a premier bilateral organization dedicated to deepening and redefining the economic, diplomatic, and cultural relationship between Japan and Ghana. Although formally registered in 2012, the Exchange embarked on its full operational journey in late 2023, ushering in a dynamic new era of strategic engagement, cooperation, and mutual prosperity for both nations.

Our Origin & Leadership

The vision for JGECE was sparked through the collaboration of two pioneering minds: Dr. Paul Kwabena Amaning, a renowned Ghanaian businessman and public policy advocate, and Mr. Masanori Mizobe, a distinguished Japanese entrepreneur and cross-cultural strategist. Their shared passion for international partnership and sustainable development led to the establishment of JGECE as a vehicle for transformative change. Today, the organization is jointly steered by Mr. Mizobe (President) and Dr. Amaning (Vice President), whose combined expertise and leadership ensure that JGECE remains at the forefront of bilateral cooperation. Their commitment is to foster a vibrant environment where businesses thrive, communities connect, and people from both nations are empowered to achieve their fullest potential.
